There are times when it becomes difficult or impossible to manage day-to-day financial affairs. When you experience ill health, impaired sight or hearing, or you may no longer be able to attend to your financial matters as you have in the past. The complexity of today’s business world can be overwhelming. It leaves seniors vulnerable to identity theft and financial scams, or fearful of making decisions regarding complicated issues. It is often difficult to remember when bills and tax payments are due, which insurance forms must be submitted in order to receive reimbursements, and when and how to file income tax returns. If you don’t have family or friends in your life who are able to manage your financial matters when you are no longer able, you can find help through the Willamette View Foundation. For more than 30 years, the Foundation has provided assistance with finances and arranged for investment management to assist Willamette View residents and to help them maintain their financial security. You and your family can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your financial affairs are being handled honestly and carefully. In addition, the Willamette View Foundation’s Financial Management Program can be designated as successor trustee or personal representative to settle your estate after death and distribute your assets according to your wishes.
